For virtually every great business, you'll find a great logo and slogan. Logos are the images that you remember businesses by, and will often provide your brand with a sense of personality. Think the target icon for Target, the four colored squares for Microsoft, the apple for Apple, etc. Through my college course Web Technologies, I was given the opportunity to create my own business and utilize various web-based technologies to build an image and social media presence. In one of my first assignments, I was tasked to create a logo and slogan for my business of choice — mine being a mobile slushie truck called "The Slush Truck." The slogan I chose to go with was "Scrumptious slushies for all," as it's simple, to-the-point, and easy to remember.

Through WIX logo creator, I was provided with many innovative and professional quality features to create my desired image. For it, I knew I needed something that would be easily identifiable and communicate to the viewer what sort of business I was running. As such, I decided to go with a food truck icon, which I found within WIX's provided images, as well as a slushie icon, which I placed atop the truck to give it an entirely new look. With these icons, I was able to change the color so that they would match each other and coalesce into a more impacting image. In addition, I added the name of the company beneath the truck, as well as the slogan. Another feature of the WIX logo creator I used were the various featured shapes that can be used either independently, or along with others to form an image. I made use of this feature by taking the line shapes and placing three of them beneath the slogan so that it appears underscored. It added, in my opinion, a sense of importance and emphasis to the image. The use of aquamarine and purple color also helped to make the image pop, and signify to the viewer that the aesthetics associated with the truck are sort of nostalgic and '80s-inspired.

Creating logos through WIX is an intuitive process and is streamlined for even the most basic of users. That said, really anyone with time on their hands can learn to create a logo through WIX. It's a great tool for someone looking to give their business or company some pizazz. If you're interested, be sure to go to https://www.wix.com/logo/maker, and create an account. From there, you'll be well on your way to creating logos such as the one I have featured below!
